Soham Chakraborty slams chocolate brand for selling poor-quality chocolate

Soham Chakraborty took to his social media to express his frustration about a packet of chocolate that went bad. The fresh packet of chocolate had insects all over it. In a video, he said that this was discovered after a child took a bite of it without noticing the bugs. The kid unwrapped the chocolate pack and took a bite. The mishap happened then. 

Actor-politician Soham shared his experience in X-handle on Wednesday. He expressed his displeasure towards the company – which is known as one of the leading chocolate brands globally. Posting the insect’s photo on social media, Soham wrote. “I never expected to see an insect inside Cadbury. If you want to give Cadbury to your child or someone else, be careful! We found an insect after unwrapping.”

The actor further added, “I did not expect something like this from such a loyal brand. It's very frustrating, Cadbury! Shouldn’t you be a bit more responsible?” he asked. He is also a father of a child. Soham expressed his concern as a father. 

This company’s chocolate has been a favourite of the young and the old for many years. But if that chocolate keeps an insect within it, then how safe is it? Soham Chakraborty expressed doubt about it. 

Soham has completed the shooting of his ambitious project, Shastri, which features Mithun Chakraborty. Directed by Pathikrit Basu, the film has Debashree Roy, Sauraseni Maitra, Anirban Chakrabarti, and others. Soham also plays a role in the film.
