Sohel's Lucky Lakshman gets a release date; here's the teaser

Bigg Boss Telugu contestant Sohel and Moksha are pairing up for Lucky Lakshman, a mass entertainer written and directed by AR Abhi. Haritha Gogineni is bankrolling the film that's gearing up for a release on December 30. The film's teaser was launched on Saturday in the presence of the cast, crew and former Bigg Boss Telugu contestants Mehboob, Akhil Sarthak and Sunny, to name a few. Tips Music has acquired the music rights.

"I'm thrilled to know that Lucky Lakshman's teaser is being received well. The love from my fans is my biggest strength. Regardless of being successful or not, my fans and friends have always been by my side. We've made the film to the best of our abilities. Abhi garu has made an entertaining film with all the ingredients in the right mix that could be watched by audiences across all age groups. I thank composer Anup Rubens, editor Prawin Pudi for their efforts. I hope audiences like our film," Sohel said.

The director AR Abhi added, "We had our share of creative differences as a team to put together a good proudct. We're finally ready with the film. I guess you all liked the teaser. We'll be releasing the trailer and a couple of songs soon. You'll come out of the theatres with a smile. Sohel has done a fabulous job as an actor and I'll be thankful to my producer Haritha Gogineni. We've already liked the film without the background score; I'm sure it'll be better when the final product is out."

In the teaser, Lakshman is introduced as a youngster who's unlucky with money, love and friends and his destiny changes overnight. The glimpse promises viewers a dash of romance, humour and peppy music. Moksha, Devi Prasad, Raja Ravindra, Sameer, Kadambari Kiran and Shani and others essay crucial roles in the film as well. I Andrew is the cinematographer and Bhaskarabhatla is the sole lyricist for the album.
