Actor Sohum Shah has left many confused and mind-boggled with the trailer release of his upcoming film, Crazxy. The Tumbbad actor is seen confused in the trailer, thus leaving even the viewers stumbled about what his film offering could be all about. Owing to this co-incidence, people have ended up calling him 'Bollywood ka Christopher Nolan,' with some even comparing Crazxy to Interstellar and Inception. Here's the trailer and people's reactions to it...

In Crazxy trailer, Sohum Shah's character gets to know that his daughter has been kidnapped. Thus begins his journey and everything that happens after he gets into the car. Many believe that the character travels through time as people around him give an update that his daughter is safe and sound, only for her to be kidnapped by the end of it. Furthermore, the character himself ends up with broken bones but moves through it all anyway. The punchline towards the end is, "5 crore ka loan milega kya?" This is, of course, in reference to a father trying to save his daughter, or so it seems. There's also the IT clown making a cameo appearance in the trailer.

All confused, the comments on the trailer ranged from - What just happened? to 'Bollywood ka Christopher Nolan.' Most, in fact, are convinced that if the film works, it could end up being on par with Hollywood.

Is there a Tumbbad connection in Crazxy trailer?

No, there is no Tumbbad connection in Crazxy trailer. So, in case you thought that this world is an extension of Tumbbad, it might be time to get rid of that thought. IT, yes, but no Hastar. Unless, of course, the character is stuck in the world after being cursed by the Hastar. But the original story is that the Hastar devours the man and the man turns a Hastar himself (which Sohum's character Vinayak Rao did turn into). The re-release of the film was a rage but even then, Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane's Sanam Teri Kasam is currently beating all re-release records, so maybe the viewers did move on from Tumbbad. The film is likely to be a trilogy but there's no update on that either. Crazxy, on the other hand, will be out in cinemas on February 28.
