Solo Leveling season 2 began with E-rank Jinwoo (officially, unofficially above S-rank) entering the Red Gate and coming out with his team members intact. That was the point where viewers already knew that Jinwoo is not someone the Hunters' Guild should take for granted but tend to do. It is where the story of Jinwoo making Tusk and Beru a part of his Shadow Army began. It is where Jinwoo knew that he cannot overlook either his family or hunter duties any longer. That is what also makes Solo Leveling season 2 ending more impactful.

Here's exploring the same...

Jinwoo enters Red Gate, again

There's a traffic jam as a gate opens up and hunters are not able to reach on time. Co-incidentally Jinwoo, who has just beaten the mighty Beru, who was basically ruling over the Jeju Island, happened to be around. He overtakes what appears to be an E-rank mission, only to find out that he is stuck in a Red Gate once again. Nonetheless, Jinwoo is confident that all it would take for the mission to come to an end is half an hour. It is to be noted that the season began with Jinwoo entering a Red Gate.

What happened in Solo Leveling season 2 finale episode?

Jinwoo found a way to heal Cha Hae-in. He extracted the shadow of S-rank healer Min Byunggyu to help her get back to normal. This is however the first time that Jinwoo extracted a soul only to release it later. Soon after though, Jinwoo found a valuable Shadow to join his army - that of Beru. The mighty ant, who terrorized Jeju Island, is now controlled by Jinwoo. This makes him so confident that he can end the battle within half an hour.
