It now looks like there was a love angle when it came to Mrunal's character, after which things went awry and she sought revenge against him. Son of Sardaar 2 features Neeru Bajwa and Mrunal Thakur as the female leads. The movie also brings together an ensemble cast of Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Neeru Bajwa, Chunky Panday, Kubbra Sait, Deepak Dobriyal, Vindu Dara Singh, Roshni Walia, Sharat Saxena, Sahil Mehta and the late Mukul Dev. The Vijay Kumar Arora directorial brings back Sanjay Dutt, who was a part of the original film. His character is still kept under wraps. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on July 25.
