Bollywood star Sonakshi Sinha who is gearing up for the release of Bhuj: The Pride of India, is now shooting for her upcoming flick Kakuda.
Sonakshi Sinha posted an Instagram story sharing a glimpse from the sets of her forthcoming movie, Kakuda. She is seen posing with the film’s clapperboard with ‘Scene 63’ written on it.
Only half of the actor's face is visible in the story. We can, however, still see her gorgeous eyes with a little bindi on her forehead. She shared the post with hashtags #DAY6 and #KAKUDA. The actress also tagged Ritesh Deshmukh while giving him credits for the Boomerang camerawork. The two are paired opposite each other for the first time and it does seem like they are having fun with their project.
The movie also features Mere Dad ki Maruti famed actor Saqib Saleem alongside Sonakshi in the upcoming horror-comedy. While Riteish has mainly done comic roles in his career, this would be a nearly new zone for both Sonakshi and Saqib.
The shooting commenced from July 20. The film marks the Bollywood directorial debut of Aditya Sarpotdar who has helmed critically acclaimed Marathi films like Classmates, Mauli and Faster Fene.
Kakuda is written by Avinash Dwivedi and Chirag Garg. It is produced under the banner of Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP movies. The movie is developed from a nascent stage by Salona Bains Joshi who is the associate Producer of the film as well. The horror-comedy will be shot in various parts of Gujarat and is expected to be released in early 2022.
