The Broken News season 2 is finally on the list of top OTT originals of the week. The show features Sonali Bendre, Jaideep Ahlawat and Shriya Pilgaonkar in the lead roles. This week, i.e. for the week of May 3-9, according to a list unveiled by Ormax Media, Amar Singh Chamkila just missed the spot. See the full list here…
The Broken News S2 among top five
The Broken News season 2 finally made it to the list. The show, which is about the fight between Radha Bhargava (Shriya) and Dipankar Sanyal (Jaideep), is the fourth most loved this week. Fallout, on the other hand, fell to the fifth spot this week.
Heeramandi still at the top spot
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi is still the most loved OTT original. The series marks his debut on OTT and features Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Richa Chaddha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Sharmin Segal.
Jitendra Kumar’s Panchayat 3 gives the show tough competition at the second spot. Jimmy Sheirgill’s Ranneeti makes it to top three as well, at the third spot.
Amar Singh Chamkila in bottom five
Diljit Dosanjh-Parineeti Chopra’s Amar Singh Chamkila missed the top five spot by one rank. It is the sixth most loved this week. Dil Dosti Dilemma and Inspector Rishi ranked seventh and eighth on the list. The Great Indian Kapil Show and Emraan Hashmi’s Showtime still hold their spot on the list. They rank ninth and 10th.
Which project will make it this week?
There were two major OTT releases this week, including Undekhi 3 and Murder In Mahim. While Undekhi is a franchise that has worked on SonyLIV (and OTTplay Premium), Murder In Mahim features the talents of Vijay Raaz and Ashutosh Rana together.
