Sonali Kulkarni, who was a part of The Broken News 2 screening held last night, has shared her feelings about the series. She went on to express something that people have been feeling about the show which marked Sonali Bendre’s debut on OTT. It was also her acting comeback and now, we get to see a lot more of her with season 2’s release on Zee5 and OTTplay.

What Sonali Kulkarni said

Sonali Kulkarni wanted to binge-watch both the seasons of the show, much like everyone who streamed the first season of The Breaking News. “Season 1 khatam hone ke baad hi mujhe laga tha ki season 2 turant aana chahiye,” she said at the screening held for the series last night.

Other reactions

Ishika Gagneja said she’s really excited to see the show. Supriya Pilgaonkar went on to praise her daughter Shriya Pilgaonkar, who plays the role of Radha Bhargava in the series. Supriya said, “Radha Bhargava sach mein kisi se nahi darti.”

About The Broken News season 2

Radha was tagged as a terrorist and sent to prison. She is back and now, she wants revenge. She has a way of taking that very revenge, but Sonali’s Ameena Qureshi puts her at crossroads. Ameena is of the belief to not let emotions rule when it comes to journalism. Thus, now, Radha is unsure about her next step. Radha wants to go up against Jaideep Ahlawat’s Dipankar Sanyal, who called Radha a terrorist on National Television, thus leading to her arrest. With season 2, the Dipakar vs Radha battle got intense since it came to taking a life in order to save reputation. The trailer and the latest promo of the show also gave people a hint on how there’s an attempt to murder on Radha.

The show is now streaming on Zee5 and OTTplay Premium.
