After achieving huge popularity on television, actress Sonamoni Saha is gearing up to debut on the big screen with the film Behaya. She will be seen opposite Pratik Sen, with whom she became a household name with the mega serial Mohor. Their pair has received love from all quarters. Directed by Mainak Bhowmik, Behaya also features Priyanka Sarkar4 and has been billed as a continuation of Mainak’s Bedroom. However, just before the film was hitting the floors, producer Rana Sarkar announced that he wanted to stop shooting due to a loggerhead situation with the Vendors’ Guild.

The producer claimed that his team was threatened by the members of the vendor's guild. On the other hand, the members of the vendors’ guild claimed that Rana owes crores of rupees to them. Hence, they allegedly didn’t want to supply necessary goods. While Rana Sarkar claimed that he would be starting the film after Durga Puja, Sonamoni Saha told Anandaabazar that she is not perturbed by the mayhem.

In an interview, Sonamoni said, “No, I am not affected. Many such problems may happen in a big project. But I am not sad and have discussed it with Pratik. I know this work will not stop. Shooting will certainly take place.” The actress is currently playing the lead in Star Jalsha's Ekka Dokka.

Rana Sarkar has also announced that he will start shooting after Durgapuja. He has contacted other vendors, and bought some goods on his own, as confirmed by him.

Besides Behaya, Rahul Banerjee’s directorial debut Kolkata 96 shooting will also start, said Rana. He has lodged a defamation case of almost one crore against the above-mentioned association.
