Song Joong-ki and wife Katy Louise Saunders were expecting a second child, and the Vincenzo actor has confirmed the news of their second baby. He shared a press statement confirming the same. Joong-ki also posted a photo of his newborn baby. The couple had already welcomed a son last year.

Song Joong-ki is a father again. He has welcomed his second child in Rome with wife Katy Louise Saunders. The couple welcomed a baby girl. Joong-ki announced the same writing, “I'm in Rome now. It's only been a little over a year since I met my first baby here. Thankfully, I met another beautiful girl. A beautiful princess was born healthy. My wife and daughter are all well and healthy.”

Song Joong-ki announced expecting a second child through his agency back in July. Four months later, they have turned parents to a daughter. Joong-ki posted a monochrome picture of him holding her tiny hands. He shared the post on his fan café, just like with the announcement of his first son.

It is believed that the Descendents of the Sun actor Joong-ki got acquainted with British actress Katy Louise Saunders around end of 2021-beginning of 2022. They made their relationship official in December 2022 and tied the knot on January 30, 2023. They got married in a private ceremony and six months later, welcomed their first child. Their son was born in June 2023. Back then too, Joong-ki had posted, “I finally met my baby here in Rome, my wife’s hometown. He is a healthy son. I am so grateful that both the baby and mom are healthy and happy, and I am taking care of my family very happily.” He called it the most precious gift and thanked his fans for all the love.

Before Katy Louise Saunders, Joong-ki was married to his Descendents of the Sun co-star Song Hye-kyo. They were married for two years from 2017-2019. It was after their divorce that Joong-ki and Katy met and went from friends to lovers and today, proud parents to two babies.
