Besides being an actor, Sonu Sood has always been in the forefront when it comes to helping those in need. Aptly nicknamed the ‘Messiah of the Masses’, he has, time and again, showed his compassionate side by helping the needy selflessly and tirelessly. The helps which he had offered to the needy and helpless during the pandemic will always remain in the hearts and minds of ordinary people. Through his non-governmental organisation, Sood Charity Foundation (SCF), Sonu Sood has launched many programmes that have helped many needy people. As the founder of the SCF, Sonu Sood has dedicated to make a lasting impact and bring about positive change in society.

After the unprecedented success of his previous endeavours, this time round, Sonu Sood has now launched ‘Sankalp’, which happens to be a one-of-its-kind initiative from the umbrella of SCF. The said transformative project is a free law entrance coaching program that empowers the needy people to pursue a professional legal education and secure a coveted spot in National Law Universities (NLUs).

Speaking about 'Sankalp' in a media statement, Sonu Sood said, "It gives me immense pleasure to see that God has chosen me to be the catalyst in the path of enlightenment of the people who want to choose law as their career. Iam sure that, our country will be in safe and able hands".

Those students who are willing to pursue law as a career, but are unable to do so because of financial hindrances can avail of ‘Sankalp’ in order to give wings to your dream career. Under ‘Sankalp’, the aspiring students would be intensively coached for CLAT, AILET, and other law entrance exams exclusively for deserving students. At the same time, utmost priority would be given to those who have faced loss during the challenging Covid wave/s or come from economically weaker sections (EWS).
