Sooryavanshi promotions begin: Akshay Kumar asks Katrina Kaif to stop recording video, says he has reputation

Katrina Kaif, who is known to be Instagram savvy, now shared a video from the first day promotions of Sooryavanshi. She posted a video of Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty. In the video, Akshay could be heard saying he has a reputation and thus, he asks her to stop recording the video.

Katrina begins the video with a selfie mode where she talks about the energy Rohit and Akshay have on the first day of promotions. She then focuses the clip on them. Akshay could be seen lying on Rohit's lap.

Seeing the video, Rohit asked Katrina to not record Akshay sleeping. The actor, too, wakes up and asks her to stop recording. Katrina then tells him that is what happens when he wakes up at 5 am everyday - that he will have no energy in the second half of the day.

Thus, Akshay and Rohit ran to a new place. Akshay insisted that Katrina should stop recording since he and Rohit have a reputation to maintain. Katrina is then heard asking, "What reputation?," before ending the video.

Sooryavanshi is the third film in Rohit Shetty's cop franchise after Singham and Simmba. The movie stars Akshay as the male lead and Katrina as the female lead. It obviously also stars 'Singham' Ajay and 'Simmba' Ranveer in pivotal roles too.

For the uninitiated, Sooryavanshi was introduced in Simmba, soon after Singham and Simmba met each other in the movie. Rohit and Karan Johar had promised Sooryavanshi's release around 2019-2020 but it had to be postponed owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Rohit Shetty directorial is now slated to release on November 5. Sooryavanshi was the first film to make its release date announcement after it was announced that the theatres in Mumbai would open up post October 22. Now, the movie is heading for a Diwali release and hoping to bring in maximum audiences.
