The love ballad from Sooryavanshi titled Mere Yaaraa is finally out. Picturised on the lead actors Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, the track shows the love and family life of them starting from how the romance brewed between them. As the song proceeds, we see Akshay going down on his knee to propose to Katrina for marriage. The video also features the beautiful wedding sequence of Akshay and Katrina as they make for a gorgeous couple. 

Shot extensively along the beachside, Mere Yaaraa also has a part where Katrina is shown pregnant hinting at Akshay and she going the family way. The track also shows them having a son and they are just enjoying every minute of their family life.

Mere Yaaraa song is crooned by Arijit Singh and Neeti Mohan. The music is composed by Kaushik-Guddu-Akash (JAM8) while the lyrics are penned by Rashmi Virag.

Sooryavanshi is directed by Rohit Shetty and reunites Akshay and Katrina on the big screen after a decade. Interestingly, this is also the first time the actors have worked with the filmmaker.

The film is a part of Shetty's Cop Universe and also features Ajay Devgn as Singham and Ranveer Singh as Simmba in extended cameo appearances. 

Sooryavanshi also stars Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Vivan Bhatena, Sikandar Kher, Nikitin Dheer and Jaaved Jaaferi in supporting roles.

The trailer for the film was unveiled in 2020 which was touted to be among the longest trailer cut in Bollywood. It featured all the elements which made fans excited for Sooryavanshi

Sooryavanshi is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Rohit Shetty. After a delay for nearly 20 months, the much-awaited cop drama is set to hit the big screens on the occasion of Diwali 2021 that is, November 5, 2021.
