South Indian actress Srijita Ghosh is all set to make her Bollywood debut in Love Dobaara, a romantic drama opposite Vijay Raj. The actress looks forward to starting shooting the film and also has a strong Kolkata connection.

Born and brought up in Kolkata, Srijita, like all Bengali actresses nurtures the dream to work in a Bengali film. She might have started her career down south, but then she is looking forward to doing a Bengali film soon. She said the Bengali directors are ‘most creative’. “I feel Bengalis are the most talented people when it comes to arts and culture. The most creative people are from Bengal. I'm looking forward to reading an extraordinary script in Bengali. In India, we don't see the regional films much, but I feel Bengali directors are the most creative,” she said.

In fact, she also has her list of favourite directors from Bengal ready with whom she wants to work. From Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, Kaushik Ganguly, and Srijit Mukherji to Sandip Ray, the list showcases her love for all kinds of Bengali content.

In Bollywood, too, Srijita desires to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Imtiaz Ali, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, and Shoojit Sircar. “I want to be part of films, which excites me as an actress to perform better,” said Srijita, a science graduate.

A rising star of the Telugu film industry, Srijita's performance in Katha Venuka Katha alongside Viswant Dudumpudi made her a household name in the South. And now, she has bagged a plum project alongside the veteran Kichha Sudeep in the Kannada film Usire Usire.

Soon, she will also be seen in Adhiparvam alongside Laxmi Manchu, which will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Up next, she will be seen in the Telugu film 'Nature', which will be streamed on Amazon Prime. In the interesting film, she shares screen space with Priyadarshi.
