The trailer for Space Force season two is finally out. The Netflix series marks the return of Steve Carell as Mark R. Naird, a general appointed by the White House to oversee a new branch of the Armed Forces with the mission of putting American "Boots on the Moon" by 2024. In the latest season, General Naird and his underdog crew must show their worth to a new administration while coping with interpersonal issues.

Space Force season two will show General Naird and his flawed but charming team having four months to prove to the new administration that Space Force is worth maintaining.

Dr. Adrian Mallory, Head Science Advisor, is played by John Malkovich, just like in the first season. He is seen as clever, arrogant, and trying to save space from becoming the next big international battlefield. F Tony Scarapiducci is played by Ben Schwartz, a self-centered media consultant whose Machiavellian ambitions only occasionally align with Mark's or Space Force's.

Diana Silvers, on the other hand, plays Erin Naird, a popular and A-student in Washington, DC, Mark's daughter, who becomes an outcast in Wild Horse, Colorado after being sent to a remote military installation and falls prey to delinquency.

And Angela Ali is played by Tawny Newsome, a helicopter pilot who is ambitious and aggressive with hidden desires.

Meanwhile, Carell, who co-created the series, stars and executive produces, while Greg Daniels is the co-creator of the series and serves as showrunner and executive producer. And, Howard Klein/3Arts also serves as executive producer.

Space Force season two is set to stream on Netflix in February 2022. The series is returning after two years, as it first dropped during the coronavirus lockdown in 2020. However, the first season received several mixed reactions from the viewers and the critics alike.
