Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse Box Office prediction day 1: This Marvel film likely to have lesser than Rs 5 crores opening

The big Hollywood release is almost here! Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), will release in theatres on June 2. Ahead of its release, even though the expectations from the film are high, the Box Office collection might not be.

It looks like Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse might earn lesser than Rs. 5 crores on its opening day. Day one will be huge and the movie might end up minting Rs. 4.3 crores on day one, according to a report on Ormax Media. The net collections for India include all the languages the movie is releasing in (English, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil).

The prediction comes after the previous MCU film Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 earned Rs. 4.5 crores on day one. However, the film earned that much in its English version alone.

Spider-Man is generally a bigger franchise and has more fans. The buzz for this film is definitely high but it appears that like most movies (including Hollywood films), this one could catch up with the viewers over its first weekend.

The animated version of the film pays a tribute to Marvel’s much-loved figure, Stan Lee, too. The story is about Miles and his aunt who took care of him while also being extremely concerned about his well-being. However, it is not limited to them. This time, you get introduced to more than one Spider-Man (they call themselves Spider-People). They all clash and Miles is at the front of it.

Whether the animated version of Spider-Man can stand against the much-loved Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, is something that will be decided once the weekend ends.
