As Pavitr Prabhakar in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Gill is ready to win over all of India's cricket fans with his batting prowess. Spider-Man has always been Shubman Gill's favourite superhero, and now he's making a major splash in that universe. It's one of the largest Hollywood series, and he's the first sports figure to donate his voice to a film.
In discussing his role as the voice of Pavitr Prabhakar, the Indian version of Spider-Man, Shubman said that he has grown up watching Spider-Man and that he is one of the most relatable superheroes. Being able to lend his voice to Pavitr Prabhakar, our Indian Spider-Man, in Hindi and Punjabi was an incredible opportunity, as the film will mark the first time the character has appeared on film. Now he feels like a god among humans. The cricketer cannot wait until this film is in theatres.
