There has been huge buzz among the Marvel fan community with many speculating that the trailer of Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to drop today on the occasion of its lead actor Tom Holland’s birthday.
The movie is slated to release in December this year. While several movies have shifted their release dates due to the pandemic, fans are hoping that Spider-Man: No Way Home will stick to its date. The movie picks up Peter Parker’s story after his identity is revealed to the world by a certain J Jonah Jameson. But what has got everyone hyped is that the film will also feature characters from previous Spider-Man movies that were headlined by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
Surrounded by several theories, fans are curious to get the first look at the upcoming MCU movie, which is also the only 2021 Marvel release that hasn’t got a trailer yet. Spider-Man: No Way Home’s social media accounts have also teased fans over their repeated requests to see a trailer. However, no official date has been announced for when the footage will arrive online.
But with today being Tom’s 25th birthday, fans are hoping that the makers will debut the trailer and it could be the perfect return gift for the webslinger’s fans. Marvel had pulled the same trick on Simu Liu’s birthday in April, by dropping the first trailer for his movie, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. So, here’s hoping for an encore!
