SPY Box Office day one: The Nikhil Siddhartha, Iswarya Menon starrer clocks big numbers on day one, deets inside

With each passing film, Nikhil Siddhartha's star status is going higher India-wide. SPY is Nikhil's latest action drama which hit the screens on June 29, 2023. Though the reviews of the film were not that great, the promotions and Nikhil's star status helped the film big time at the box office. Both in the Telugu states and abroad, the action drama has taken a sensational start at the box office.

When it comes to Telugu states, SPY made a whopping 11.7 crores gross worldwide on day one. This is the highest-ever day-one collection in Nikhil's career and shows that the audience believes in his films as he always comes up with different content all the time. In the US too, SPY has started on a good note as it made $220,887 so far. These are also good numbers and as the long weekend is on in the US, the trade expects some big numbers for the first weekend of its release.

Back in India too, the Eid weekend is also helping the film big time. The occupancy for SPY on Friday is also above 70% and most of the evening and night shows are getting full. With the weekend setting in, the trade experts say that the film will be in a safe zone by the end of this week. Garry BH has directed SPY which also had Iswarya Menon as the female lead.

SPY is filled with action and Nikhil, for the first time in his career, has done an out-and-out action film and was impressive in his role. For now, the collections are okay and we need to see how the film fares once the weekdays start on Monday. The team is happy and is busy promoting the film all over the Nizam area. Sricharan Pakala composed the music for this film which has a connection with Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the great freedom fighter of India.
