Lee Jung-jae's Gi-hun has not only survived the Squid Game this time around, but has turned VIP too, or at least that is what season 3's trailer suggests

Squid Game 3 trailer is here and it is more intense than ever! Lee Jung-jae's Gi-hun has locked himself up to not cause harm to anybody coming his way but the deadly games continue. That is, till he turns VIP. The trailer has also finally unveiled the game that the Squid Game dolls Young-hee and her boyfriend Chul-soo would play with the players. Here's everything the trailer unveils...
Gi-hun does not like the fact that he is left alive, or so he claims. He screams and questions the guards and of course, the Frontman aka Lee Byung-hun's Hwang In-ho about why was he spared when each of his ally was killed. The trailer leads to an interesting end - one where Wi Ha-joon (Midnight)'s Hwang Jun-ho enters the venue and at the same time, Gi-hun turns VIP and learns the real identity of the Frontman.
The game that the Squid Game dolls play with the players is in fact jump rope. However, things are not as simple as they appear. The Korean version of jump rope does not only require you to jump rope but perform more actions as instructed. It could range from turning to the left while jumping and sometimes, even stripping. Here though, even a simple action could fail owing to the immense pressure of your life being on the line. Young-hee (Squid Game doll from Red Light, Green Light) and her boyfriend Chul-soo hold the rope and the players have to follow the instructions, failing which they die.
Squid Game is coming to a brutal end with season 3 (probably sans Guardian: The Lonely and Great God actor Gong Yoo and Bad Papa actor Lee David). Gi-hun has now survived the game twice, but the big question this time is, did any of the other players survive, too? Gi-hun's one decision - to turn VIP and enjoy the games from afar, or end the games once and for all, will mark the end of Squid Game. While Squid Game comes to an end with season 3 being out on June 27 on Netflix, the franchise is likely to expand into a universe with spin-offs based out of various characters associated with the show throughout the three seasons.
