Vaaraahi Chalana Chithram and Krishi Entertainments will bankroll the film

Actor Sri Simha Koduri, son of composer MM Keeravaani, who shot to fame with his appearances in Mathu Vadalara and Tellavarithe Guruvaram, has a handful of film offers coming his way. While the actor is already working on two films simultaneously, Bhaag Saale and Dongalunnaru Jaagratha, he has signed a new film titled Ustaad, formally launched today in Ramanaidu Studio, Hyderabad.
Newcomer Phanideep is the writer and director. Rajini Korrapati,Rakesh Reddy Gaddam and Himank Reddy Duvvuru are jointly producing the film under Vaaraahi Chalana Chithram and Krishi Enterainments. Ustaad took off today in the morning in the presence of MM Keeravaani, Srivalli, producer Sai Korrapati, Kaala Bhairava, Venkatesh Maha, Srinivas Gavireddy and cinematographer Vamsi Patchipulusu.
While MM Keeravaani clapped for the muhurat shot, renowned writer Puranapanda Srinivas switched the camera on, for the same. The film is set to go on floors shortly. Pavan Kumar Pappula cranks the camera and Akeeva B is on board as the composer. Akhila Dasari is the costume designer and Pravalya is the production designer. Carthic will edit the film.
The female lead, the cast and crew will be announced in the coming days. While Sri Simha’s first film Mathu Vadalara is streaming on Amazon Prime Video, his second film Tellavarithe Guruvaram can be watched on aha.
