Sridevi Shoban Babu: Our film is a homage to the small-town love stories says, Santosh Soban

Santosh Soban is one of the finest upcoming talents in Telugu cinema. He made heads turn with various films on OTT during lockdown time. Now, he is doing back-to-back Telugu films and was last seen in Kalyanam Kamaneeyam which was about a jobless husband who hides his actual career from his wife.

Within just a matter of one month, he is ready with his new film Sridevi Shoban Babu which will be out on the 18th of this month. The promotions are on and Santosh is busy giving interviews all over. 96 fame Gouri Kishan is playing the female lead in this romantic drama which has music by Kamran.

When asked why one should watch Sridevi Shoban Babu, Santosh says "This film pays homage to the small-town feel of films from the ’70s and ’80s. It will be once in a lifetime opportunity for us to go back in time and relive the moments".

Sridevi Shoban Babu is also special as megastar Chiranjeevi's daughter, Sushmita Konidela has produced this film. Speaking about the romantic drama, Susumita says "This film is very special to me. It has been in the making for quite some time now but whenever the audience sees it, they will love the whole setup".

Megastar Chiranjeevi launched the trailer of the film which has been directed by Prashanth Kumar. Noted actors like Naga Babu and Rohini play key roles in this film which happens in a small village. A crazy act by a few changes things for the lead couple Santosh and Gouri and how they come out of it is the story.
