Sridevi Soda Center trailer: Sudheer Babu's upcoming film will remind you of Arjun Reddy

The one who enters and gets out of prison is never the same person. With this punchline, the trailer of the upcoming film Sridevi Soda Center trailer hits the chord with its audience offering a glimpse of the intense action-romantic film. Directed by Karuna Kumar, it stars Sudheer Babu and Anandhi in the lead roles.

Superstar Mahesh Babu, who is currently filming Sarkaru Vaari Paata in Goa, took to Twitter to share the official trailer for Sudheer Babu-starrer film. He wrote: “Here’s the trailer of #SrideviSodaCenter. Absolutely enjoyed it! Looking forward to its release in the cinemas. Good luck to @isudheerbabu and the entire team!”

The trailer has a promising pack of action sequences, romance, dance numbers and a lot of entertainment. The way the main lead keeps punching a tree after his enemy ducks are intriguing. Sudheer will play the role of a convict, recently out from jail who falls in love with a woman from a different community, Sodaala Sridevi aka Soda Sridevi, played by Anandhi. He is seen fighting for the love of his life saying, "Sridevi is mine, forever mine". Anandhi's and Sudheer's acting look impeccable. But the trailer reminds one of the film Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani-starrer Hindi romantic film which was a remake of Vijay Deverakonda's Arjun Reddy.

This will be the second collaboration of the director with the producers Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy after the 2015 film Bhale Manchi Roju, under the banner of 70mm Entertainments. The music is composed by Mani Sharma and the cinematography is by Shamdat Sainudeen. The film is edited by Sreekar Prasad. The movie that was filmed in November 2020 in and around Hyderabad also features Naresh VK and Satyam Rajesh playing significant roles.

The film is slated for a release in theatres worldwide on August 27.
