Srijit Mukherji and Chanchal Chowdhury are known to be good friends. The actor plays Mrinal Sen in Srijit Mukherji’s Padatik – a film he made to pay tribute to the legendary director. Now, Chanchal gave a surprising gift to Srijit.

On Thursday, Srijit shared a glimpse of Chanchal’s gift with his fans. Not many people know that Chanchal is a good painter. He sketched a portrait of Srijit. Most probably, he drew the black outline on the white space on digital media. Srijit shared the painting with his fans on social media. He wrote, “Chanchal Bhai, many thanks to you.” Chanchal replied with a heart emoji.

Chanchal had been a teacher for several years before coming to the film industry. He studied painting in the Fine Arts Department of Dhaka University. However, later he chose acting as his profession. However, he did not forget painting. This portrait reflected the other side of Chanchal in front of the fans.
