Cinematographer Anji, associated with films like The Angrez, Pokkiri Raja, PSV Garuda Vega in the past, is turning a director with a film titled 10th Class Diaries. Sriram, Avika Gor, Srinivas Reddy, Vennela Rama Rao, Archana, Himaja, Nasser and Shiva Balaji form the pivotal cast of the feel-good film. The film is officially the 50th project in Anji's 15-year-long career as a cinematographer. Achyuta Rama Rao, Ravi Teja Manyam are bankrolling the film under SR Movie Makers and Anvitha Avani Kreation. The first look of 10th Class Diaries was unveiled by Krish Jagarlamudi today.
The first look has all the key actors in the film appearing in a single frame, including Sriram, Avika Gor, Srinivas Reddy, Vennela Rama Rao, Archana and Himaja. The three couples are seen spending a cozy holiday at a scenic, hilly location enveloped by greenery and one could also notice a tent in the backdrop. Sriram is showing a few images from his camera to his on-screen pair Avika in the same, while the other couples are seen having a good laugh. The film comes with a caption, 'We're all bad in someone's story.' It also announces that the teaser would be out on November 2.
"10th Class Diaries is an entertaining commercial film with a novel plot. Tenth class is a turning point in all of our careers. It's a phase that lays a foundation for our friendships, attractions, love stories, ambitions, goals and dreams. It's hard to forget that age regardless of the heights we reach in our careers. The film will be nostalgic ride for audiences and it has shaped up to our expectations," the director, cinematographer Anji stated. The producers particularly lauded the efforts of Avika Gor and said that crowds will henceforth remember through her performance in 10th Class Diaries.
10th Class Diaries was shot across Chikmagalur, Rajahmundry and USA. The team is currently wrapping up the dubbing work. The makers are planning a release in December. Chaitanya Prasad, Kasarla Shyam, Suresh Gangula have penned the lyrics for the film that has music by Suresh Bobbili. Prawin Pudi is the editor of the film. Madhumitha, Satyam Rajesh, Bhanusree, Sivaji Raja, Rajasri Nair and Thagubothu Ramesh play supporting roles.
