Actor Sriya Reddy was recently seen in an important role in ZEE5 series Thalaimai Seyalagam. Created by Vasanthabalan, the series features the actor as a political journalist who also doubles up as an advisor to the state chief minister. Thimiru - SunNXT
Thimiru is a 2006 action film directed by Tarun Gopi. The film revolves around a young man who goes to Chennai to study. However, a series of chaotic incidents take place after he is hunted down by goons who believe him to be the cause of their sister's death. Sriya Reddy's portrayal of Easwari, an outspoken and angry young woman, won several praises for the actor and is one of the iconic female antagonists in Tamil cinema. The film is headlined by Vishal and also stars Reema Sen, Vadivelu and others.
Kanchivaram - ZEE5
Kanchivaram is a 2008 period drama directed by Priyadarshan. Starring Prakash Raj, Sriya Reddy and others, the film throws light on the plight of silk saree weavers in Kanchipuram and how, despite producing luxurious silk sarees, their conditions remain poor and struggles remain unanswered. Kanchivaram won critical acclaim upon its release, with Prakash Raj bagging a National Film Award.

Pallikoodam is a 2007 Tamil film, written and shot by Thankar Bachchan. The film stars actors Sneha, Narain, Sriya Reddy, Seeman and others. It revolves around three friends who join hands to save their dilapidated school from demolition. During their journey, they begin to recollect their memories and how the school shaped them up.
Sila Samayangalil – Netflix
Sila Samayangalil is a psychological drama starring Prakash Raj, Sriya Reddy and Ashok Selvan, among others. The film is written and directed by Priyadarshan and is about seven strangers who are waiting for their HIV test results at a clinic.
