Srikanth Odela's debut Dasara has been earning great reviews from all corners. The film has already yielded great results at the box office and is sure to emerge as a big success in due time, but it's the outpour of love and support from fellow industry insiders that the team of Dasara would carry home dearly. Nani, who is receiving a lot of praise for his performance as the protagonist Dharani, has yet another great acting credit to his name with Keerthi Suresh and Dheekshith Shetty, who form the rest of the central cast, too, have shined incredibly bright in this film which is set in the 1990s.

S.S. Rajamouli, who is no stranger to conceiving extraordinary worlds for his stories, is the latest to join the long list of admirers of Dasara. The RRR director, who has previously worked with Nani on Eega, has sung high praise for Srikanth Odela and his team and in a succinct manner, highlighted every merit of the film in his latest tweet. He would first laud debutant Srikanth for imbuing the story of Dasara with a sense of tenderness and then discuss Nani and Keerthi Suresh's performances, before going on to praise the cinematography and the background score of the film.

"Hearty Congratulations to the #Dasara team on the wonderful success…" wrote S.S. Rajamouli, who is fresh off the stellar success of his film RRR in the Hollywood awards circuit.

In the past, Rajamouli has openly discussed his admiration for filmmaker Sukumar's distinct gaze and hailed him as one of the best in the business today. Many would know that Srikanth Odela has worked under Pushpa: The Rule director on films like Nannaku Prematho and Rangasthalam and the latter's sensibilities are sure to have rubbed off on the debutant - the stark 'rustic' tone of Dasara being the prime example of the Sukumar influence. So, one gathers the same facet of Dasara must have charmed S.S. Rajamouli, who is mighty fond of Sukumar's penchant to create a distinct world.

Not very long ago, Salaar star Prabhas shared that he loved Dasara and said that the Indian film fraternity should aim to do more films like that.
