SS Rajamouli launches the teaser of Dochevaarevarura, hails Siva Nageswara Rao’s unique comedy style

Popular director Siva Nageswara Rao, known for films like Money, Mr and Mrs Sailaja Krishnamurthy and Sisindri, is back in feature films after a sabbatical. The filmmaker, who last directed Over Action in 2016, is helming a film titled Dochevarevura, a crime comedy. Boddu Koteswara Rao is bankrolling the film under IQ Creations.

Ajay Ghosh, Bithiri Sathi, Pranava Chandra, Malavika Sateesan play key roles in the film. The film’s teaser was launched by RRR director SS Rajamouli earlier this week. “I enjoy the wittiness and the unique comedy style in Siva Nageswara Rao garu’s films. Happy to release the teaser of his upcoming film Dochevaarevarura... My best wishes to him and the entire team,” Rajamouli tweeted on Friday.

The teaser, while introducing the various characters of the film, even has a dialogue where a woman is confident that Ram Gopal Varma would become the Indian PM. The film revolves around a group of thieves and a 500 rupee note. A mysterious man is chasing the film’s lead character and the setup looks interesting for a wacky crime comedy.

The first look poster was unveiled by Ramgopal Varma recently and the makers believe it has generated immense curiosity around the film. After wrapping up all the post-production formalities, the team plans to release the film in August. More details around the film will be announced shortly. Rohith Vardhan and Karthik score the music for Dochevarevura.

Arli is the cinematographer while Venkat Aare and Malireddy Rajasekhar are the art directors. Siva Y Prasad is the editor and co-director. Chaitanya Prasad, Sira Sri and Siva Nageswara Rao have penned the lyrics. Anji is the stunt director with Samson serving as a script coordinator and line producer.
