#SSMB28, Mahesh Babu’s next with Trivikram to go on floors this August; will be a summer 2023 release

Mahesh Babu, whose action entertainer Sarkaru Vaari Paata released this summer on May 12, will also have a release in the same time in 2023 as well. Yes, you guessed it right, we’re talking about #SSMB28, his next with director Trivikram Srinivas. The film, to be bankrolled by Suryadevara Radha Krishna under Haarika and Hassine Creations, features Pooja Hegde as the female lead.

The makers of #SSMB28 today released a special glimpse sharing interesting details surrounding the film’s cast, crew and release date. While national-award-winning editor Navin Nooli is part of the team, the film will be cinematographed by noted technician PS Vinod. S Thaman is composing the music and AS Prakash is the art director of the entertainer. The film is presented by Mamatha.

Much to the joy of fans, the glimpse says, “The evergreen combo is back to reign” and confirms that the film’s shoot is all set to commence this August. Mahesh Babu’s earlier collaborations with Trivikram include the action entertainer Athadu (in which he co-stars Trisha) and Khaleja (paired opposite Anushka Shetty). Both films enjoy a cult status among movie buffs even today.

Trivikram, apart from #SSMB28, is also involved in the scripting of the Telugu remake of ZEE5’s Vinodhaya Sitham, jointly produced by People Media Factory, that stars Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej. The film will be directed by Samuthirakani, who also played the lead role in the Tamil version alongside Thambi Ramaiah.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu is on a long break from work after having consecutive releases an actor and a producer - Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Major. While Sarkaru Vaari Paata is streaming on Amazon Prime Video, Major had its OTT premiere on Netflix on July 3. After his film with Trivikram, the star will join the sets of SS Rajamouli’s next, scripted by Vijayendra Prasad.
