SSMB29: Priyanka Chopra Jonas resumes shoot, films for a special scene with Mahesh Babu

SS Rajamouli has kick-started shooting for his highly anticipated film with Mahesh Babu. After completing a brief schedule, the team took a two-week break as the film’s female lead, Priyanka Chopra, attended her brother’s wedding in Mumbai. Now, Priyanka is back in Hyderabad and has resumed shooting at the Aluminium Factory on the outskirts of the city.

Latest update on SS Rajamouli-Mahesh Babu film

As per the latest update, intense confrontation scenes between Mahesh Babu and Priyanka are being filmed amidst a massive hotel lobby setup. A special set has been constructed for these sequences. In the coming days, Rajamouli has also planned a solo action sequence featuring Priyanka Chopra at the same location.

Sources reveal that the shooting of SSMB29 will continue for nearly a year at this location, with various elaborate sets being erected. A significant portion of the film will also be shot at Ramoji Film City. Additionally, OTTplay has already reported that the city of Kashi is being recreated for a major chase sequence in the film.

Mahesh Babu allots bulk dates for SSMB29

SS Rajamouli is leaving no stone unturned to make this project one of the most ambitious films in Indian cinema. Mahesh Babu has dedicated the next few years to this film and will not take up any other projects in the meantime.

MM Keeravani is composing the music for this mega-production, which also features Nana Patekar in a key role. The makers have kept the star cast under wraps, making the actors sign strict non-disclosure agreements. Any leaks from them could result in financial penalties.

Mahesh Babu’s fans are eagerly waiting to see what SS Rajamouli has in store. The only confirmed detail is that SSMB29 is a globe-trotting adventure thriller with a staggering budget of Rs 1000 crore.
