Stardom: After Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor will feature in Aryan Khan's web series

The shoot of Aryan Khan's directorial debut keeps making headlines. Stardom, a six-part series, has been much discussed ever since it went on floors. The first schedule of filming has begun, and over the weekend, Ranbir Kapoor shot his cameo for the show in Century Mills, Worli. Moreover, Shah Rukh Khan showed up on set as well. He had been over to see his son and offer his congratulations on his fresh start.

Production on Animal, starring Ranbir and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has been taking place at Filmistan Studios. He had cancelled his plans for the day so that he could film his guest spot on Aryan's show. According to Mid-day, Karan Johar, who plays a pivotal role in the series, filmed his scenes in the pilot's first three days. Set against the backdrop of the Hindi film industry, the show stars Lakshya Lalwani.

The second of June will always be a significant date in Aryan's diary. Stardom went into production that day after months of planning by the first-time director. In the morning, he and the rest of the production crew showed up at a shared office space in Century Mills, Worli. Some scenes in an office setting were scheduled to be filmed. It will be used for a few office scenes. The crew has secured another floor in the same building and will begin filming a lounge scene there in the coming days. There were over 350 actors and staff members on-site, so there was a constant buzz of activity.

Friends of the family, including filmmaker Karan Johar, also visited the sets. An additional detail from the unit hand told the tabloid that Karan's sequences are scheduled for the first three days. He portrays a successful producer who is modelled after himself.

It's being reported that Ranveer Singh is also likely to have a cameo in the series.
