Malayalam film Sthanarthi Sreekuttan, which features child artiste Sreerang Shine in the titular role along with Thattathin Marayathu actor Aju Varghese, is all set to make its OTT premiere. The children's film, which released in theatres in November 2024, will be available for streaming on Saina Play soon, the platform has announced. Sthanarthi Sreekuttan: Where to watch on streaming

The 2024 Malayalam film Sthanarthi Sreekuttan is all set to land on OTT, six months after its theatrical release. Saina Play has confirmed that it will begin streaming Sthanarthi Sreekuttan soon, though it did not specify an exact release date. Sthanarthi Sreekuttan plot and cast

Set in a government school, Sthanarthi Sreekuttan delves into a school election with the title translating to candidate Sreekuttan. Sreerang Shine plays Sreekuttan, a class VII student in the film, which beautifully captures the happenings at a rural school, the camaraderie between kids and the occasional quarrels. Aju Varghese appears as teacher Chakrapani, along with Jai Mahendran actor Saiju Kurup, Anand Manmadhan and Johny Antony in other key roles.

Anand, Kannan Nayar, Ajisha, Sreenath Babu, Jibin Gopinath, and Sruthy Suresh are also part of the cast. Vinesh, Murali Krishnan, Anand Manmadhan, and Kailash S Bhavan have been credited with penning the script. The film marked the directorial debut of Vinesh Viswanath. Sreerang Shine had previously featured in movies such as Tovino Thomas’ Ajayante Randam Moshanam. He was also seen in another Tovino-starrer, Identity, as the son of Aju Varghese’s character.

Pallotty 90's Kids was another Malayalam children’s film to release in 2024. The state-award winning film is now streaming on Manorama Max.
