Stolen: Abhishek Banerjee reacts to overwhelming response for his thriller movie; 'When audiences are celebrating good cinema...'

Stolen, starring Abhishek Banerjee, is the story of two brothers who get entangled in a kidnapping case after a young and poor mother's child went missing at a railway station in Rajasthan. The survival thriller, directed by Karan Tejpal, is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video and has been receiving massive love from fans and critics. Now, Abhishek has reacted to the overwhelming response for the film.

Speaking about the massive love that Stolen has received, Abhishek Banerjee said, "I'm overwhelmed. We made Stolen with a lot of honesty, and to see it not only trending on top but also be loved so widely is incredibly emotional. It's a good phase when audiences are celebrating good cinema, regardless of scale. It gives hope to storytellers like us."

A source from the production said that when the discussion largely centers on big-budget, high-octane entertainers, it's a joy to see a film like Stollen find its footing and triumph based on the merits of its story and acting. "The response has been beyond our expectations, both in India and internationally," it added.
