Desingh Periyasamy, who is all set to helm Silambarasan TR's upcoming film, which is tentatively being referred to as STR48, says that working with both is nothing but a dream come true. The director said that it was a privilege narrating the story to none other than Kamal Haasan. Dropping a picture of himself with the Ulaganayagan, the director wrote on his social media handle, "I feel extrmly grtful for the unimaginable miracles of my life. Having the privilege of narrating a story to Ulaganayagan @ikamalhaasan sir for being gvn the opportunity to direct under his prestigious @RKFI is a dream come true.Thank you #Mahendran Sir for making this happen (sic)."
He also thanked the Pathu Thala actor Silambarasan for accepting the project and wrote, "Thank you @SilambarasanTR_ brother for accepting my Script and believing in me. You have been unbelievably supportive from the day oneThank you GOD (sic)."
Kamal Haasan had made the announcement of the project last evening on his social media handle and had said that "Cinema connects generations; Reduces gaps. Cheers to youth and talent (sic)." Silambarasan, too, stated that dreams do come true.
During the audio launch of Silambarasan's last outing Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu, directed by Gautham Menon, an interesting conversation happened. Silambarasan TR had then asked Kamal Haasan, who was the chief guest of the event, in which film would he like to see him.
To which Kamal Haasan had said that he would like to see him in many films. But if he were to pick only one project, he would like Simbu to act with him. Since then there have been a lot of rumours and expectations about a collaboration and now fans are glad that the project is indeed happening. Silambarasan, in the meantime, is now gearing up for his long-delayed project Pathu Thala, which is helmed by Obeli Krishna.
