Stranger Things is almost here with its fourth season, and the makers finally unveiled the official trailer for the same today. Seeing their beloved characters back on screen yet again after what seems to be a long gap, fans' emotions certainly got running high. Netizens took to Twitter to express just how much they missed Eleven, Max, Mike and the rest of the gang.

Many users seemed to become emotional at the new season’s trailer and did not shy away from making it known. Fans highlighted different parts in the trailer that caught their eye, both intriguing and terrifying. A particularly scary-looking monster is featured in many tweets.

Viewers could not stop talking about a few of Max’s scenes in the trailer. They were in particular left stunned by the scene where she is seen levitating above her stepbrother’s grave.

Some viewers were also very affected by a scene involving Eleven, where she is seen sitting in the back of a vehicle and looking at Mike through grills. While one user said that the scene had left her sobbing, another pointed out how it seemed to parallel another similar scene from previous seasons.

All in all, it seemed that the new trailer has certainly gotten fans excited for the new season, with some of them talking about how much the show meant to them. A user even went so far as to say that their teen years would not have been the same if it weren’t for the show.

The upcoming season of the Duffer Brothers’ show features Winona Ryder, Brett Gelman, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Charlie Heaton, Noah Schnapp, Eduardo Franco, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Natalia Dyer and Gaten Matarazzo.

Stranger Things 4 will premiere on May 27 on Netflix with its first part. Volume two of season 4 will stream from July 1 on the platform.
