The sci-fi horror on Netflix features Gaten Matarazzo and Sadie Sink, among others and recently, the stars have revealed who they would want to play the older version of their characters from the show.

According to Pinkvilla, these young actors were asked the questions at an event in Sydney, to which Gaten Matarazzo who plays Dustin Henderson in the show named Tom Hanks as his first option. Gaten, who has been a part of the show from its first season, is known for his sense of humour and has a large fan following.

Next up was Priah Ferguson who plays Erica Sinclair in the show. The young actor, who became a part of the show from its third season, named Angela Bassett to play a grown up Erica.

Sadie Sink, whose character Max Mayfield was introduced in the show’s second season, has a considerably larger role in the latest season. Sink picked Jessica Chastain and Julianne Moore as her options to play a grown up Max.

All the three actors can be seen reprising their roles in the fourth season of the show, which started streaming on Netflix from May 27. The latest season changed up the formula and has added more elements of horror to the episodes.

“Volume I of season four recaptures the true essence of Stranger Things, going back to its roots, and delivering a riveting first half of the season. It has found the perfect balance between a fresh storyline and its core elements, allaying any fears that the series might become repetitive,” reads the movie’s review on OTTplay.

The show also features Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Cara Buono, Matthew Modine, Joe Keery, Paul Reiser and Maya Hawke among others. The second volume of the fourth season is set to be released on Netflix on July 1, which will cap off the fourth season.
