The Bhootnii is an upcoming horror film starring Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, and Palak Tiwari. The trailer for The Bhootnii has garnered attention and built anticipation. Ahead of the release, Sunny reacted to the comparisons between The Bhootnii and the blockbuster Stree. The actor said that the stories for both films are different in the same world.

In a recent interview with India Today Digital, Sunny Singh opened up about the expected comparisons between The Bhootnii and Stree. However, the actor dismissed the comparisons and added, "I understand people will compare, given they are of the same genre.
However, that was Raj and Shraddha’s (Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor) film, this is ours. These kinds of comparisons happen more in romantic comedies."
He further added that they shot The Bhootnii in 2022 when Stree 2 wasn’t that huge. "When it comes to horror comedies, romance is the common factor, and even when the world is the same, the stories are different. And that’s what makes the difference," he said.
What can fans expect from The Bhootnii?
Sunny shared that from The Bhootnii, people are expected to be scared and amused at the same time and added that children, especially, will enjoy watching the film.
Speaking about horror comedy, Singh said, “It has always been loved by fans. First, it was only comedy and then the addition of horror has made it more entertaining. I always knew I would do something in this genre and it’s finally here.”
