Stree is back! Shraddha Kapoor CONFIRMS sequel as she grooves with Varun Dhawan in Bhediya song

Shraddha Kapoor is all set to step into the shows of Stree yet again. Fans were given a special surprise when the actress made a stylish appearance in the latest track from Bhediya, Thumkeshwari. Audiences could not contain their excitement at seeing Shraddha set the dance floor on fire with Varun Dhawn. To add to their joy, Shraddha confirmed that she will return for the sequel to Stree.

Taking to her official social media handles, Shraddha gave a sneak peak into the fun times she had filming for the song, in a BTS video. In the video, she confirms that she is back as Stree for the upcoming sequel to the Amar Kaushik directorial. She talked about the excitement of being back on set in Dinesh Vijan’s horror comedy universe and confirmed that she will start working on Stree 2 ‘very very soon’. She also shares some hilarious BTS moments from the shoot of Thumkeshwari’s music video.

Thumkeshwari is the second track to be out from the film and features the vocals of Sachin-Jigar, Rashmeet Kaur and Ash King. Interestingly, Kriti Sanon, who stars as the female lead in Bhediya, had also made a special appearance in the track Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe from Stree as well.

Stree marked the first film in Dinesh Vijan’s horror comedy universe, and was followed by Roohi (2021) and Bhediya (2022). The 2018 film marked Amar Kaushik’s directorial debut as well. In addition to Shraddha, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee also starred in the film, which can be streamed on Netflix and Disney+ Hotstar.

Amar is also the director of Bhediya. In addition to Varun and Kriti, the upcoming film also features Deepak Dobriyal, Abhishek Banerjee and Paalin Kabak in prominent roles.

Bhediya will be released in theatres on November 25.
