Stylist Law Roach reacts to Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ ‘sample-sized’ remark

Priyanka Chopra Jonas had recently revealed that she shed tears after being humiliated by a stylist for not being ‘sample-sized’. Although she did not name anyone, her stylist Law Roach has now reacted to her comment.

In a recent interview, he clarified that his comments were taken out of context and stated that he has never had such a conversation with the actress-entrepreneur. “It is her gatekeepers, how they presented what I said to her to make her feel that way. I am sure it was taken outta context to get her to be like,” he told The Cut.

However, Law also stated that he adores Priyanka - who is also a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador - as a person. He said, “She has a twinkle, she has a wiggle, and I love her, like, even as a person.” He said that he has been styling Priyaka since pre-pandemic and always in clothes that made her look great.

The American designer made headlines last week when he announced his retirement from the fashion industry. He shared a post online, with the caption, “The politics, the lies and false narratives finally got me! You win…I’m out.”

In the past, Law has worked with celebrities like Zandaya, Celine Dion, Anne Hathaway and Ariana Grande, among others.

On the work front, Priyanka will soon be seen in television series Citadel, alongside Richard Madden. She will also be seen in American film Love Again with Sam Heughan.
