“When we are doing a film, everyone who buys a ticket has the right to tell if they like it or not. Not only them, even those who watch for free, the pirated versions or on their phones too can comment if they like it or not. Because a film has come out. But to tell a film could have been done in a certain way, no one has that right. It is violence against me or a writer, filmmaker. I see it as a violence committed on me, and it is a crime. It is like telling someone to dress particularly, or be in a certain way. I cannot accept that. Unless and until, I ask them myself about their suggestions, it is not right,” he said.
