Samantha Ruth Prabhu made her debut as a producer with the film Subham, which was released on May 9, 2025. Although the film had a disappointing start at the box office, the horror-comedy gradually picked up in terms of occupancy and eventually managed to land in the safe zone for the makers.

Subham OTT deal faces issues

As previously reported by OTTplay, ZEE5 had acquired the digital rights to the film for a fancy price. However, as per the latest update, the noted platform has suddenly backed out of the deal. The reasons behind this move are not yet known, but it has come as a shock to Samantha, who is now busy negotiating with ZEE5 to resolve the matter.
