Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who has turned producer with her maiden film Subham, a Telugu horror comedy, has been a household name in south Indian cinema. The Super Deluxe actor, in a n interview recently, said that though she is not considered successful at the moment by those around her, she sees herself more successful present times. With the recently released Telugu film Subham getting good reviews, it is a good start for actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu to start off as a producer. In an interview, the actor spoke about various stages of her life and decisions, as she mentioned about the idea of success.
“Many people around me don't consider me as a success now as I was before. But in my head, I am more successful than I have ever been because I am happy and excited to wake up every day because of the many, many things I am doing that truly appeals to me,” the Ye Maaya Chesave actor said.

Subham is a horror comedy film which is running in theatres. The cast includes Harshith Reddy, Gavireddy Srinivas, Charan Peri, Shriya Kontham, Shravani Lakshmi, Shalini Kondepudi, Vamshidhar Goud, and others, with Praveen Kandregula directing it. Vasanth Mariganti has penned the story. Set in a small town, the film revolves around three friends who find out that their TV serial addicted wives are possessed by evil spirits, leading to a drastic change in their lives.
The Manam actor produced the flick under Tralala Moving Pictures production banner, which will be backing its second film Maa Inti Bangaram featuring Samantha. The film is in pre-production stages.
