We at OTTplay have already revealed that Samantha Ruth Prabhu has turned producer and has launched her new film Subham in association with Raj Nidimoru of Raj and DK fame. Her debut production is titled Subham, a horror comedy which is all set to hit the screens on May 9, 2025.

The makers have kick-started the promotions, and as a part of it, they have launched the trailer, which is top-notch. The trailer showcases a group of three friends who try to dominate their wives. But things change when these women start watching a TV soap and start behaving in a wild manner. This aspect has been established superbly in the trailer.
The production design, visuals, and the setup of why the women in the entire village behave as if they are possessed while watching the TV soap is the basic conflict point, and this is established so well in the trailer. Films like Masooda have been made in this genre, but Subham looks quite different.
The lead actors, the way they perform, and the entry of Samantha Ruth Prabhu at the end of the trailer in a cameo light up the screen. Samantha of Rabhasa and Auto Nagar Surya fame is seen as a lady swamy who has come to solve the issue of the villagers.
Praveen Kadregula directs Mail
Praveen Kandregula, who made an impressive debut with Mail, has directed Subham, and his concept and take are funny and intriguing at the same time. The trailer creates a lot of interest for the audience to know what is behind the TV soap that has changed the entire village into evil spirits.
The presence of Samantha is the icing on the cake, and as she has produced the film, Sam will also take part in extensive promotions of the film. With the trailer, the makers have also revealed that Subham will hit the screens on May 9, 2025.
Subham is written by Vasanth Mariganti and has music by Dharmendra. Tralala Moving Pictures banner is the production house behind this film whose trailer lives up to all the hype created.
