Despite being 25 years old, people continue to watch the romance drama Pardes, thanks in large part to the outstanding performances of Shah Rukh Khan, Mahima Chaudhry, and the late Amrish Puri.

Subhash Ghai recalled directing the movie by telling ANI that Pardes is very important to him. He thanked the entire cast, crew, and, most importantly, the audience for their continued support after 25 years. His team reports that even now, people are still showing their affection and remembering the famous moments from the digital world.

In addition to the plot, songs like Yeh Dil Deewana and Meri Mehbooba are responsible for making Pardes one of Bollywood's timeless movies. Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the former Prime Minister and late politician attended the film's music premiere.

Ghai continued, sharing information about the matter that Pardes honoured as the vibrant culture of the nation. To get Vajpayee to come to the music launch, he went to Arun Jaitley. I Love My India, a song, was also made public before India's 50th Independence Day, and there was a lot of coincidence. The filmmaker shared that he could go on and on about the magnificence of this magnificent country, but his heart goes out to India. Another coincidence is that he wrote and created a song for the 75th anniversary of Independence Day, Ghar Ghar Tiranga.

Ghai also said that he can still picture the audience cheering and singing along to I Love My India as it was being shown on the screen. What stands out more is their response to his appearance, in which he can be seen singing I Love My India on television. It made him feel uncomfortable, but it is a memory he will always treasure.

Ghai also discussed his interactions with King Khan, saying that in every scene and song, he kept reminding the star that he needed to suppress his alluring, romantic side in order to support Arjun's persona. The filmmaker claimed that Shah Rukh found it difficult, but he succeeded!

Ghai is ecstatic that Pardes is reaching its silver anniversary and that, even after 25 years, the audience's adoration remains constant. He puts his entire being into each of his films. Filmmaking is a business, but it's a business of the heart where one gives everything they have got for the audience to enjoy.

Apurva Agnihotri, Alok Nath, and Himani Shivpuri all had significant roles in Pardes. The theme of the movie was the differences between Indian and Western values. Mahima played Shah Rukh's love interest in the blockbuster film. Khan portrayed Arjun as a man who has made a home in a new place but upholds the traditional norms of his native region.
