Subhash Ghai shares health update

Subhash Ghai shared a note on his X (formerly known as Twitter) account and thanked his fans for expressing concern and their love and wishes. He wrote, "I feel so blessed to know that I’ve so many friends expressing their love n affection for my health. after my hectic stint at IFFI goa. ALL IS WELL NOW n see u soon. SMILE AGAIN. thank you" followed by folded hand and smiley emojis. Have a look:

Earlier, Subhash Ghai's team shared an official statement while updating about his health. According to India Today, the statement read, "We would like to confirm that Mr Subhash Ghai is absolutely fine. He has been admitted for a routine check-up and is doing well. Thank you all for your love and concern."

According to IANS, the hospital earlier shared in a statement that his past medical history was positive for Ischemic heart disease and a recently diagnosed hypothyroidism. He was admitted to the ICU under the care of Dr. Rohit Deshpande.

Subhash Ghai's appearance at IFFI 2024

Recently, Ghai was seen gracing the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. His memoir, Karma's Child: The Story of Indian Cinema's Ultimate Showman was launched there. His iconic film, Taal starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, and Akshaye Khanna was also screened at the screening.

Subhash Ghai is known for films like Karz, Hero, Vidhaata, Meri Jung, Karma, Ram Lakhan, Saudagar, Khalnayak, Pardes, and Taal among others. He last produced and wrote the comedy-drama movie, 36 Farmhouse. It was released in 2022.
