While the second instalment of HBO's popular comedy-drama series Succession recently ended with a shocking twist, the official teaser of the next season set to drop this fall is here to intrigue you and keep up your excitement. With the season two finale showcasing son Kendall Roy (played by Jeremy Strong) refusing to take the fall for all the misdeeds of the Waystar Royco Empire, the teaser for the third season reveals that the rebellious relationship between Kendall and Papa Roy is not going to end anytime soon.
The second season of Succession ended with a shocking turn of tables with Kendall embracing his rebellious side and standing up for himself, ravaging an open war with his father Logan Roy (played by Brian Cox). The battle between the father-son duo of the Roys is set to sprawl in the third instalment. The teaser revealed that the upcoming season is going to be all about the Roy vs Roy action, with the rather timid Kendall embracing a new personality.
Even HBO's official synopsis hints at the battle between the Roys, stating “Ambushed by his rebellious son Kendall at the end of Season 2, Logan Roy begins Season 3 in a perilous position, scrambling to secure familial, political, and financial alliances. Tensions rise as a bitter corporate battle threatens to turn into a family civil war.”
The third season of the dramedy series will also feature some fresh new faces including Adrien Brody, Alexander Skarsgård, Sanaa Lathan, Linda Emond and South Korean singer Jihae.
The first two seasons of Succession are available to stream on Disney+Hotstar.
