Sudheer Babu, who recently headlined Mohanakrishna Indraganti's drama Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali, is awaiting the releases of Hunt and Maya Maschindra next. Before these films hit screens, the actor has signed another film, the 18th project in his career. He is set to unite with Gnanasagar Dwaraka for the same, the filmmaker behind the feel-good rom-com Sehari, that released earlier this year. Sumanth G Naidu is bankrolling the film under SSC (Sree Subrahmanyeshwara Cinemas).
The untitled film was announced earlier today. In the announcement poster, there's an Inland letter card from a man named Arun Gowli, hailing from South Bombay, addressed to Subramanyam in Chittoor district. The message reads: “Critical: your arrival is needed.” There are motifs of temple and a village in the poster while other elements like a gun, bullet, an old currency note, a landline phone, and a cigar add to its appeal. Another update around the film will be out on October 31.
It's evident that Sudheer Babu 18 is a periodic action drama with a divine connection and the story is set in 1989 in Kuppam. The makers insist it's a rooted story that'll showcase a different dimension to Sudheer Babu's repertore in a never-seen-before mass avatar. The actor will be undergoing a makeover for the project. Other details about the project will be announced shortly. Meanwhile, Sudheer Babu's Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali can be watched on Amazon Prime Video.
