Sudheer Babu’s next with Harshavardhan titled Mama Mascheendra; here’s the first look of the bilingual

Sudheer Babu, who’s consistently evolving as a performer over the years with fine performances in Bhale Manchi Roju, Samanthakamani, V and Sridevi Soda Centre, had joined hands with actor, writer Harshavardhan for a film, tentatively titled Production No. 5, produced by Narayan Das K Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under Sree Venkateswara Cinemas. The film’s title and first look were launched commemorating Sudheer Babu’s birthday today.

Nicknamed Nitro Star in the poster, the makers while wishing Sudheer Babu on his birthday, confirmed that the film is now titled Mama Mascheendra. Why a Nitro Star label for Sudheer Babu? The team confirmed that the tag is in reference to his charged up performances and terrific screen presence across his films. In what’s a surprise, it’s also confirmed that the action-comedy is a bilingual, simultaneously being made in Hindi and Telugu languages.

Reportedly, Mama Mascheendra was finalised as the title given it has many meanings- power-seeking, ambitious, courageous etc, hinting at the multi-layered character of Sudheer Babu. Dressed in funky costumes in the poster, Sudheer Babu looks vibrant and enthusiastic in the poster where he is seen singing at a pub. Touted to be an action entertainer, Eesha Rebba is rumoured to be playing one of the two female leads in the film.

Sonali Narang and Srishti Celluloid are the presenters. Chaitan Bharadwaj scores the music for the film with PG Vinda cranking the camera. Rajeev is on board as the art director. Other cast and crew of Mama Mascheendra will be revealed shortly.
