Sudipta Chatterjee’s cookery show, Sudipar Rannaghor, was one of the most prominent culinary shows on Bengali television. She taught new dishes and gave cooking tips. The show ended in 2022 after two decades and she concentrated on family and her saree business. In fact, Zee Bangla started a new cooking show with Ridhima Ghosh and Gaurav Chakrabarty. It is called Randhane Bandhan. Now, Sudipa is gearing up with her new show. However, it is not for Zee Bangla. Her show will be streamed on YouTube.
The new show Sudipa’s Sangsar will start soon. She gave updates about the show. She will be the anchor. Sudipa said that though her fans wanted to see her in the kitchen, she did not want to confine herself. She would rather bring a new show, Sudipa’s Sangsar. There, she would share cooking tips as well as talk about issues like women's empowerment. Sudipa shared the show’s poster on Instagram. Her YouTube channel will screen the show. Sudipa and Babul Supriyo sang the title track and she shared the update on social media.
Sudipa hosted the popular Zee Bangla show from 2005 till 2022. She once left the show in 2018 and then came back in 2020. During her absence, Aparajita Adhya, Ushashi Roy, and Tiyasa Lepcha hosted the show. The show had its final episode on December 31, 2022. This year, a new cooking show called Randhane Bandhan started on the channel, hosted by Gourab Chakraborty and Riddhima Ghosh. This show and the old episodes of Sudipar Rannaghor stream on Zee Bangla. One can also watch it in OTTplay Premium.
