With the makers of Thug Life on full throttle to promote their film, the latest after released the trailer and Jinguchaa trailer, is the second single Sugar Baby. Actor Trisha, whose role in the film has been the subject to discussion, has been featured prominent in the song.
The releases of Thug Life trailer and first single Jinguchaa, have made enough buzz for the film which is set to release on June 5. With Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam coming together after 38 years, Thug Life is one of the most anticipated Tamil films this year. To add on to this, AR Rahman will be scoring music for the film.

A while ago, the makers had released the first single of the film, Jinguchaa, which became a wedding anthem on social media. Following this, the trailer of the film further sparked conversations with Trisha’s character having an intimate scene with Kamal Haasan and what her role is. The makers of the film now released the second single, Sugar Baby, on social media.
Featuring the Ponniyin Selvan actor, the song has her seductively dancing in a white saree with background dancers, in what may one assume to be a film set. Composed by AR Rahman, Sugar Baby has lyrics by Siva Ananth, and AR Rahman. It is sung by Alexandra Joy, Shuba, Sarath Santhosh with rap portions by Shuba.
Thug Life OTT release
Recently, Kamal Haasan confirmed that the release of the film on OTT will only be after eight weeks of theatrical run. Netflix has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film. Starring Silambarasan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Ashok Selvan, Nasser, Abhirami, Vayapuri, Vadivvukarasi, and others, Thug Life is gangster action drama.
